Start a new conversation
Use Conversation → Reset conversation when changing topic, removing recent local history or starting again. A New chat action, where shown, serves the same purpose; it is not a separate subscription or allowance reset.
What reset clears
Reset removes locally retained questions and answers and discards the active conversation reference. Later questions begin a new association. If the network is unavailable, the app must complete any required service-side reset synchronization when it reconnects.
What reset does not change
Reset does not refund used allowance, create another trial, cancel a subscription or delete OpenAI’s old conversation content. De-linking a conversation is different from asking for provider-held data to be deleted.
Turning context off stops conversation-history retention for subsequent independent questions. The current displayed question and answer disappear when the app closes. Access credentials, preferences and required usage accounting are not conversation history and are managed separately.
For a privacy or deletion request beyond the local reset, contact the developer through the app listing or published support route. Do not post private transcripts publicly.
