Choose your connection preferences
Open Connectivity to review LTE fallback and Wi-Fi. Each is an On or Off preference. The normal phone route remains the first choice when usable.
LTE fallback
LTE fallback requires a compatible LTE watch, a suitable active service and coverage. Enabling it allows the supported fallback route; it does not purchase a service plan or guarantee reception. The LTE icon indicates the enabled option, not proof that a specific request used LTE. Consult Garmin about service eligibility and any carrier or plan charges.
Experimental Wi-Fi and recovery
Wi-Fi is experimental. A saved network can be reported as available even when the full voice flow cannot use it reliably. A positive Wi-Fi availability check is not proof of internet access for every stage. Keep the phone route or supported LTE available where practical.
If a request fails after changing connectivity, check the connection and retry the retained question. Avoid repeatedly toggling routes while an upload is in progress. There is no offline AI-answer mode.
